a). Obligatorie
Manualul care structurează cursul este, pe de o parte manualul de “Limba greacă a Noului Testament”, elaborat de n F. Tipei, manual apărut în 1994 la Editura “Cartea Creştină”, pe de altă parte, pentru studiul pe 1 Ioan, este materialul elaborat de S.M. Baugh, A First n Reader, Intermediate Greek Reading Notes and Grammar, P&R Publishing, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, 1999. Primul este un manual de structură clasică, după modelul lui G. Machen, W. H. Davis şi A. Marshal. Al doilea este un manual modern, care porneşte de la metoda inductivă, bazat pe textul Sfintelor Scripturi. Primul manual are dezavantajul de a oferi texte artificial create.
Au fost alese aceste manuale din mulţimea manualelor din dotarea bibliotecii, datorită faptului că, sînt accesibile, chiar şi cel scris în limba engleză, şi, împreună, îmbină cele două direcţii în ceea ce priveşte învăţarea unei limbi clasice, unul porneşte de la gramatică spre text, celălalt de la text spre gramatică. Celelalte manuale sînt indicate ca bibliografie opţională.
